About Us
Manava Vikasa Vedika -MVV- (Human Development Forum) is a Humanist Organisation based in Hyderabad, Telangana state, India. It was incepted on 12th September, 2004, in Hyderabad with a group of 30. Then, the following aims and objectives were adopted in the manifesto of MVV, to bring awareness among the people:
- Eradication of Caste system
- The Life without religion
- Women empowerment
- Human values and Humanist Culture
- On Human Rights
- The need of Secular and Democratic politics
- Scientific Temper
- Co-operative Economy
- Protection of Natural equilibrium
Affiliations:
1. MVV is affiliated to the ‘Federation of Indian Rationalist Association’ (FIRA), a largest umbrella organisation of Atheist, Rationalist and Humanist associations, survive in India.
2. MVV is also a member association in ‘Humanists International’ (previously, International Humanist and Ethical Union-IHEU), based in London.

To achieve the above objectives, MVV has framed some activities and they may be found in the manifesto, which is attached.
MVV has the following affiliated wings:
A Marriage bureau for New Generation (Navataram Pelli Vedika):
This is meant for to encourage and perform Anti-caste, Anti-religious and Anti-Dowry marriages among youth.

Cheyutha (The helping Hand):
This is meant for to perform Humanitarian activities among the needy poor students, public and members of MVV.

Humanist Centre:
This is a training centre to the volunteers of MVV, which was established in 2010, located in Batasingaram village, in the outskirts of Hyderabad, very near to the famous ‘Ramoji Film City’.

MVV is purely a voluntary and a non-profit organisation. It is intended to promote Humanist ideology theoretically and practically. Basing on the donations received from time to time, all the programmes will be planned and successfully be conducted. We are pleased to mention that MVV IS abide of the constitutional duty, which was mentioned in Article 51a(h) of Indian Constitution, i.e. ‘It shall be the duty of every citizens of India -to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform’.
Income tax Exemption
Manava Vikasa Vedika is a registered organisation with Regd. no: 05/2005.Every year, its accounts can be audited with a qualified and licenced auditor and the audit returns can be filed to Income Tax Department of India. All the donations received by MVVmay be exempted from Income Tax under section 80G of I.T. rules.
